ENVE Recalls Bicycle Forks Due to Fall Hazard (Recall Alert)

Our friend and owner of R&E Cycles in Seattle, Dan Towle, dropped us a note to pass along a recent recall notice issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission that pertains to certain ENVE 2.0 Carbon Fiber Road Disc Forks with a 1.25″ tapered steerer. Full details can be found at the CPC Website.

Our thanks, as always, to Dan for doing his best to get the word out to the tandem community in the event anyone may have spec’d a tandem with one of these forks.   I think I may have seen something posted to Tandem@Hobbes and on the tandem sub-forum at BikeForum.net as well, so word is definitely getting out.

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?
