Back on the Tandem…. Ahhhh

After our fun-filled visit to Florida last weekend, we were able to get back out on the tandem this past Saturday and it REALLY felt good.  Just did our local loop, but was about all Debbie had in her tank.  Still struggling with fatigue, but we see glimmers of recovery and are still working through the process of figuring out what’s ailing.

It was interesting to note both of us were thinking we should have taken the tandem along to Panama City Beach, as we could have easily gotten in some great early morning rides along the beach as the roads were nearly empty and the weather was perfect for riding.

Looking forward to seeing more tandem friends next weekend and the weekend after at some local events.

Hard to believe we’re well into October!!

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?

I have to apologize as I’ve unintentionally mislead readers with this particular post. This particular blog entry is one that I wrote back in October and posted to my other blog.

I was “fiddling around” with my blogs and wanted to see if I could “move” a blog entry from one blog to the other and it would appear that when a ‘new’ entry gets posted to a blog it acts like a new one, regardless of the date.

So, like you, our weather is starting to become a bit less inviting and Debbie has now started to ride indoors on the rollers. I’m still OK with temps into the 40’s and even a bit of less that ideal weather for out-door rides on the weekends. Of course, our weather is tropical compared to what y’all are getting… God love ya. Stay warm and look forward to warmer weather and riding together.
