500th Blog Entry… Good Grief

Yes, believe it or not, we just surpassed 500 Entries since creating our blog back in January 2010.  I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a red flag.

Worse yet, I think our average entry has about 1,200 words, so I shudder to think how many hours all of that represents.  Never mind my post counts at Tandem@Hobbes and BikeForums.net which, as one might suspect, have fallen-off now that I invest a lot of my on-line time creating these blog entries.

Anyway, for those of you who subscribe or otherwise are frequent readers… thanks for your indulgence, comments and interest.  I think we’re just about to pass 120,000 visits since going on-line which suggests someone’s been reading our gibberish.

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?

Keep up the gibberish. As an on-bike guide and an avid cyclist I find tandem riders the nicest people and some of the most enthusiastic riders one can meet. The more we can all do to promote sharing the ride (and the road) the more tandems will be “rocking the ashphalt” as one couple put it recently at the top Mt. Veeder, Napa Co. When riding solo I always appreciate a good draft from a speedy duo. Keep the rubber side down…Cheers Ross

Congrats! As newbie tandem riders we’ve appreciated your information and stories. Pls. keep em coming, LOL, even as former 30 year motorcyclists we enjoy your Harley Tales too!
