Dancing Bear Bicycle Bash, Sept 10-12 @ Townsend, TN

It’s that time again…  the 2nd annual installment of the Bicycle Bash at Townsend, Tennessee’s Dancing Bear Lodge.  From Tim Patterson came the following, latest addition to Tim’s “The Best Ever…” list of cool stuff, events, places and meals that could easily fall in the top 2 or 3 spots of  someone’s Top 10 list….
It’s time for the DBL bike bash. This is the best cycling event of the year. This year the Trek Men’s and Women’s demo trailers will be offering test rides We also have some road bikes available for riding the Saturday event. If you would like to try a new Trek or Gary Fisher Signature Series bike send me an email, the bikes are reserved on a first come first served basis and they’re going fast (no pun intended). Mt bikes are available for demo on Friday afternoon and Sat during the event also.
Matt and the Dancing Bear staff put on an awesome event and the lunch on Sat is absolutely the best post ride meal you’ll ever have.
The Bash always sells out so don’t wait any longer or you’ll just have to hear about from your buddies.
Follow the link below sign up and be sure to hang around after the ride for the Cycology Bicycles bike games and win some swag.
See ya there,
Tim

As noted in my March 3rd Blog entry on the Spring Edition of the DBL’s Spring Bash, while not a tandem event, per se… the cycling routes and aspects of this great escape to the foothills of the Great  Smokey Mountains in Townsend, TN, is put together by our good friend, tandem enthusiast and renaissance-man Tim Patterson.  Therefore, the ride routes and cycling events have that same quality that hundreds of tandem enthusiasts have come to expect from the always awesome Tennessee Tandem Rallies.

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?
