An Off-Road Tandem & Wedding…

The internet is an amazing place with amazing images and often times not a lot of privacy.  I suspect the marketing side of professional photography is one of the big drivers here in that, the best way to secure new business is to show-off your work at past events.

Such appears to be the case with a recent wedding held in Winter Park, Colorado.  The bride and groom — Chris and Ivete — are apparently off-road enthusiasts and like all true enthusiasts, they including their interest in cycling in their wedding plans, as evidenced by the sample photo in this blog entry.   Based on what you can read at the following links, Chris and Ivete got their hands on a friend’s Ellsworth Witness off-road tandem and their photographer was able to work in some spectacular images of them riding the tandem in their wedding-day best.  Simply awesome stuff.

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?

Hi there. Just to clarify a few things…

The tandem is not actually owned by the couple, but by a married couple that is friends of theirs and who were in attendance. They are currently just mountain bike enthusiasts. Chris was talking as if he was interested in getting a Divorcycle of his own after riding it however!

Thanks for the clarification and your photography is AMAZING; some of if not the best I’ve seen!

I’ve gone ahead and ‘tweaked’ my original write-up to reflect the additional details you so graciously added.
