Today’s Email was filled with news from Bill @ Santana regarding their upcoming West Coast Road Show. I have no idea if this is something new for Santana, or if this is a repeat performance. I tend to believe it’s the former. Regardless, for readers who live on the West Coast of the continental US near the cities of Portland, Oregon or San Francisco and Monterey, California, here’s your invitation to learn more about what’s going on at Santana Cycles, Inc. from the commander-in-chief, Bill McCready. As usual, we have no personal business interests at stake here; just passing along information on opportunities to learn more about tandems and tandeming.
FIRST STOP: Portland, Oregon THIS Saturday, April 10th
In conjunction with Oregon’s largest tandem dealer & the Northwest’s newest bike show, Santana’s Bill McCready presents an expo opening keynote address on the Future of Tandeming.
Show up by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning for Bill’s presentation. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. the first 100 keynote attendees will receive coffee, snack & FREE admission to The Bicycle Show (normally $7).
If you can’t find us that early (Function Room D-139 off of Lobby D), stop by Santana’s display booth 207/209 to say “hi” anytime during the Saturday and Sunday show hours.
SECOND STOP: San Francisco Bay Area on Tuesday, April 13th
Northern California’s tandem specialty shop is hosting an informal reception with Santana’s Bill McCready.
Show up at Crank 2 anytime between 6:00 & 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening for wine, cheese & stimulating tandem-centric conversation.

THIRD STOP: The Sea Otter Classic at Monterey, April 15th – 18th
April 15-18, in conjunction with Crank 2 Performance Tandems, we’ll be exhibiting at California’s premier cycling festival. Santana’s Tandem innovations will be on display with owner Bill McCready available to answer any questions.
If you bring your current tandem to space 170 (all brands welcome) we’ll score your frame’s performance using Santana’s tandem evaluation test-rig. Afterwards, we’ll buy you a cold brew at the Sierra Nevada Beer Garden.
