We’re enjoying Christmas Eve in front of the fire here with my folks in Pennsylvania and Debbie will have a White Christmas tomorrow morning!
We had Christmas with the kids and grandkids on Saturday and then a second Christmas hosted by our daughter-in-law’s parents at their home last evening, so that was nice… but I know Debbie will be missing them tomorrow morning, as we’ve spent the past five Christmas’ at home before making a quick trip up to my parent’s home in Pennsylvania on the 26th.
So, we were overdue for a Christmas with my parents and also have a trip to Savannah for New Years on the back-up of our holiday break, so we had to squeeze in a number of activities to our 12-day mini-vacation. Although, at this point I’m thinking I may stretch mine to a 17-day break!
Regardless, we wish all of our family and friends a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years!
Merry Christmas to you both! Snow melted here but Indiana is to get about 9 inches on Wednesday! We hope to leave for Florida on Saturday taking the tandem and the BMW. Will be visiting with the Bills and plan on them coming to ride with us in Venice.

You can count on Captain D to have your back anytime, he recognizes a soul brother when he meets one! He’d not squeal on you! I peeked over his shoulder that day, TGeek, and saw the greeting on his computer. Could have stayed at my own computer, but we were conversing IN PERSON at the time! Blizzard here today, all day. Just cleared away the first layer and came in and read about a recent bike ride in Indy at NIGHT to see the Christmas decorations…lucky they didn’t get this snow then, just had icy patches…no lie!! They have gone out when it was 14 at the start and 6 coming back in!!! And we belong to two bike clubs who participated. That confirms there are some crazies around here, out in the snow on tandems and singles occasionally. NOT at our house! Just wanna get out of here and cruise along the shorelines, and I don’t mean with a snowblower!
